International recording and performance deals up for grabs as Vodacom Launches Season 4 of Vodacom Superstars

Maseru- On Wednesday, May 13th 2015, Vodacom Lesotho announced the Launch of yet another installment of its popular "Vodacom Superstars" talent search. This Year's event not only provides a showcase for the best of Basotho talent, but aims to springboard local artists to international exposure and further develops Lesotho's Entertainment industry.

Vodacom superstars which originally launched in 2011, aimed not only to provide a showcase for the amazing talent that exists in the kingdom, but to also support the careers of these young artistic Basotho whom had lacked the right platform to expose their talent. This Year it builds on its original goal with the unveiling of a talent search competition that promises not only to excite Lesotho but to keep everyone engaged as talents are exposed and doors are opened to both local and international platforms. in support of this one a king talent search, Vodacom announced a massive price pool amounting to M1 million in cash prizes, recording with an international record label, international video and live performance bookings to be won. in this year's event. There will be three winners in each of the four categories, Male DJ, Female DJ, Music and Dance.

On top Monetary winnings, which have been substaintially increased from the previous season, 1st Prize winners in each category will also be winning;

• A recording deal for a single with Kalawa Jazzmee For Music category

• A video feature with a top Kalawa Jazzmee artist for Dance Category

• A booking/ Performance deal at a regional Kalawa Jazzmee gig for the Dj Category 

The Top 3 winners in each category will walk away with M70 000, M40 000 and M20 000. registration for season 4 of Vodacom Superstars opens on May 13th 2015, also opening for the TV Presenter search, which is for selecting talented TV Presenters who will carry the superstar campaign all the way to completion on Local TV.
